Personally I wouldn't waste my time going somewhere just to see Bebe Buell, but that sounds like her typical Buellshit behavior. She did the same thing on this message board--while she was insulting people and ranting about a certain ex-husband of hers, everyone asked her to stop the negativity and to share some positive stories instead. She refused to share any stories and she continued with the insults. It was so obvious this woman doesn't have a life because she spent so much time spreading her shit on this message board. If she wasn't insulting people, then she was wasting time trying convince everyone that she wasn't a groupie but an important muse. WRONG! Funny that NONE of the rock stars Bebe has been with have ever called her their muse. I guess the Buellshitters want people to overlook that while she spews her delusional crap. And if you want to see how poorly Bebe's book did, just see how low it's ranked in Amazon.com sales. As for Pamela Des Barres...a truly great writer, last I heard she was working on a book or screenplay about James Dean.
