In Aerosmith's "Behind the Music," Steven Tyler talks about his relationship with Bebe and he said (a direct quote): "I broke up with Bebe." This totally contradicts Bebe's version of events which she's repeated over the years: that SHE was the one who broke up with Steven. Steven didn't say, "We broke up" or "Bebe broke up with me." He said HE was the one who ended their relationship. I believe Steven, considering Bebe has at different times contradicted herself on other things about their relationship: she's said could've married Steven if she wanted to, and then at other times she's said that she wanted to marry Steven but he didn't want to marry her. Steven breaking up with her would also explain why Bebe would run back to Todd Rundgren and beg his forgiveness, and why she wouldn't tell Steven for years that he was Liv's father. Steven was having a lot of financial problems for most of Liv's formative years, and Bebe just HAPPENED to tell him he was Liv's father only after Aerosmith had a big comeback and Steven became wealthier than he was in the '70s and could fork over more money to her than Todd could. How convenient.

Bebe was interviewed for the Aerosmtih behind the Music ONLY because she's the mother of Liv Tyler. (Do you think they would interview a Steven Tyler groupie he fucked over 20 years ago unless she'd given birth to his child? HELL NO!) If you haven't seen this Aerosmith Behind the Music and want to know what Bebe said, the main subject they really showed Bebe talking about was Liv. Bebe tried to justify the lie she told about who Liv's father was by saying she was "in denial" at the time because she really wanted Todd to be Liv's father at the time. (Being in denial, or lying for her convenience based on who would pay her more support money?) Bebe also said something like (in her typical overdramatic way) that when it came to sex drugs & rock & roll, Aerosmith was the most extreme and that the Rolling Stones and Led Zeppelin couldn't come close to Aerosmith's decadence. Bebe's eyes looked so dead and vacant in the interview. Maybe it's all that medication she's taking for her mental illnesses. Too bad the medication isn't working because she's still a nutcase.
