I will not say that fairies did not exist. Perhaps there was a Peter Pan, as you may believe. The burden of proof is not on you if you say, "There could or could not be a God, I really don't care either way." But by saying there is no God, that is a conclusion, unfortunatly with no proof to back it up. Perhaps one can fall for the miss worded and misinterpreted statements that claim to prove the Bible is false. But even if those were true (meaning the Bible is false in case you are not following), it still does not prove God does not exist.
Like you, I was atheist once, so maybe this can help you out. You will remove stress if you call yourself an Agnostic (or roughly put, one who could care less whether there is a God). I was Agnostic for years before God showed Himself to me.

How could a Christian argue against hate? It's a lose-lose battle, but there are those that like to fight it. A Christian should, however, at least try to open up your mind to your falocies and pray that you will find the ways of the world (material ways) unfruitful, or if you prefer, unfulfilling.

The mistakes are only in the wrongful interpretation or scientific means that are created by those that hate God. Case example is the contrast between Freud's works and life. It's easy to find the intense hatred toward Christians not only in his life, but through his works (research). Therefore his works translated into bias viewpoints developed to directly attack Christians as he had wanted his father to do when his father was attacked by Christians in his youth.

Sadly, the blinders are likely on you. God doesn't appear as a big face in the sky like some seem to believe (probably from all the television, much created by those that oppose God, that has consumed our nation). I'm sure he has shown Himself to you many times before; you have choosen to ignore Him so that you may live as you please. Best of luck to you, and I will pray that God will one day take the blinders off you so you can be free.
