Jerry, I do not know why the cut tire rule was missing from the rules. It has been there in the past and probably was left off at some point by accident. Armada has always tried to protect their Farm class (sometimes with good luck and other years not). They try and keep it for the "stock" farm tractors. This is just background not a defense. It sounds like they should let you pull unless they have the usual rule of the track officials/judges being able to make decisions as needed. Sorry to hear they bounced you given the circumstances.

Sounds like your son did real well in the Go Fast class. Armada has had this class available for tractors that do not fit in the 6000 Farm class for more years than I care to think about. It was in the fair book, which was available for at least two months. This year they had two classes with a three hundred pound difference between them.

Were they taking entries for classes the day of the pull? I never pre-registered because of other things going on. I would have shown up if they were taking entries the day of the pull. The materials they sent out gave me the impression that they were only accepting pre-registered tractors/pullers.

You should have come out to the pull at Oakley on Sunday. They don't mind top bar cut tires in the dyno'd classes.

Take care,
A.P.
