That's hardly the point, Anthony made strategic errors, found himself in a postion from which he could only rereat. A great many of his legions, simply desterted and went over to Octavian. He had no choice but to run for Egypt by sea. It wasn't so much a battle as a skirmish. He sacrificed his Roman ships and troops, in order to allow himself, Cleopatra and the war chest to escape.
