That's possible, on the other hand, Tutankhamun was clearly the King, under whom the remains in KV55 were interred. So, I think at this time, there was no real backlash against Akhenaten, just a wish to slowly forget his reign.

Why WV25 was ignored is still a mystery to me, albiet a not too important one. Yes, 22nd dynasty intrusive burials were made in the corridor, and then a well made sealing was made.

I will have to check later, just how extensive work in the WV has been. I wonder if anything undiscovered could be still in the WV. As you know several burials are unaccounted for, principally Nefertiti, Akhensenamun, and others.
