He strides down the inky black alley, hearing soft humming. Turning his head this way and that, viridian pools searching for the sorce of the lullaby. Brushing back carcoal tresses, he sees a glint of red behind a dumpster and quikly strides across the distance, high blak bots thudding softly against the cold concrete. Slowly peering behind the dunpster, he sees the rag-covered girl and, not wanting to frighten the frail thing, he backs away and leans against the wall and waits for her to notice he's there.
