I lived in South Georgia in the late 70s – and at that time, when someone was selling alcohol (liquor) illegally, the radio newscaster said something like “she was keeping a tiger in a cage” or something like that… This was in Fitzgerald, GA, 3-1/2 hours south of Atlanta. Do you know anything about that expression? I am not sure of the exact language, but it always absolutely amazed this Northerner when I heard it …
