  • Yes, we had a great time. He should be in this Sunday evening. We (me & the girls) are going to my little sisters house in Okla this Friday and come home on Sunday just before he get here. Then we should be going all together to his sisters house in the Houston area for Christmas. With us in the building process I just don't want to do Christmas where we are at. I really haven't done much decorations this year ( except at my shop) and usally got way over board. It will be nice to be at theirs houses...they both have just got new homes and are excited as we are for them. As far as the next pageants....I was hoping the girls would get to do Star Dreams ( but now with the hubbie just getting home and the travel schedule I not sure if they can or not?), the AJ's Valentine Beauties Mini Nationals and Stars Over the Ark-La-Tex Nationals. I think that is all for Jan & Feb??? unless of course we win some major fees off or a free entry!     • Guess we did...I didn't find out till today though.....hope I can get everything together and make Star Dreams. (I need some paper work0 but thats what I get for not checking in for the past 2 weeks or so. I took a 3 week leave to spend time with my husband and girls. It has been really nice but I'm about ready for him to go back out on a job. (just kidding) Christmas was wonderful...full of great freinds and family.   • I am so glad to hear from you and what a beautiful banner. Thank You!!!!!! for thinking of me and my daughter. I had a wonderful time in California and wish I could have stayed. My sister visited from Long Beach and spent the entire week with us and enjoying playing with Mykaylah. The pageant was awesome and very professional. I think there was 98 or more Contestant in the 4-6 age division from also every state. I am very proud of my daughter for doing so well at her 1st Nationals winning: 4th RU Photogenic, 4th RU Best Thank You Note, National Achievement Award, Portfolio Award, Spirit of America and Advertising Award.     • I support you 100%! I'm doing the same and see no results. My problem is the food. I have eating disorders when I'm under stress. Oh well, as long as I don't miss out on my aerobic classes I'll be OK. Usually when you start exercise you wont see results after 2/3 months. We gain muscle the first days and the weight goes up. So don't weight your self until after 3 months. I'm doing good, thank you for asking. I went to Hobby Lobby yesterday and I found 2 books to put in your package for this month.   • Secret Pal.......Thank you for the advice, it was very helpful. I went to water aerobic yesterday and decided to lift weights 30 mins before class starts and it makes a big difference. I bought a new scale because I thought it was broken but when I stepped on the new scale it had the same reading and all I could do is laugh to keep from crying. Girlfriend, what ever you send is find with me because I am blessed to be alive each day to give GOD the glory. Santa must have a memory lapse and didn't remember what a toot she has been this year! I guess he was pretty good to me, just gave me a lot of money which is always what I want! Money to do what I want with. I was a little sick though with high blood pressure so that was kind of a drag, but feel better now.     • Great Minds think alike. I love Snowmen too. I think they are just a nice way to continue the Hoilday into the new year without putting all the christmas away. Did you have a good New Years???? I was right in the ballroom and you probably didn't even know. You were busy feeding the judges when I was in there. The pageant was a big hit. I wish we had competed this year.   • Being a Mom and Loving bath stuff goes hand in hand normally....... Most moms love to lock themselves away and take some time for themselves,even if it is just a little bit of time. It kinda runied the suprise but all the little gifts Are so cute !!!   • Secret Pal!!!! I finally finished the scrapbook I started. I have been busy with my daughter cheerleading practice. They won 1st place out of 10 Teams in the 5/6 year old age group and she is only 4 years. I was proud of the entire team for their hard work. I am starting Water Aerobics tomorrow and I am excited to get out and socialize. I will be traveling to California this Friday because my daughter will compete at National American Miss Nationals and I can not wait because I need a vacation. I almost forgot the baby of the house "REX" our boxer pup. I'm always on the GO with my daughter. She has me going every where for her after school activites. So I'm almost a TAXI! I teach aerobic classes and spend the rest of the day with my baby Mario. He is a RUNNER... he can run FAST and JUMP soooo high that he drives me NUTS.       • Hey there! No, I don't think we will be going to Nationals. That is such a drive and my little one is only 3 and she just doesn't want to travel that much. I understand your family perfectly but I understand your side also. I would have to side wth you (of course) because the only thing that is going to stop me from doing pageants is my DD wanting to stop! I have been in your situation a few times, there is always somebody trashing her and I on the boards on the rare occasion that she might actually win 2 or 3 in a row. All of a sudden "she just isn't all that" or "how in the heck, she must have known the judges". Been there, done that! Just don't let them get to you because then you have let them win!
