Subject: BE CAREFUL WITH THE BOMBS.....

The action of not participating in a National Swimming Championship can only hurt the swimmers...no one else.

The Time trial was a BSF sanctioned time trial just as all the time trials held by all clubs were sanctioned.
This type of time trial is legitimate as set out in the BSF Rule Book (old and new).

There is a process in place to deal with the complaint. It may not be a perfect process but it is what we have written in the rules which govern this Federation.

It is interesting to note that each time matters are addressed and answered with the facts the story changes.
What is the real problem???

There were no swimmers imported or exported. The swimmers you are referring to are Bahamian citizens....just like you and me. They are duly registered and in financial good standing....they also represented their country proudly at the most recent CARIFTA Swimming Championships.
Shame on the writer for dragging this one back.......
have some common decency.....leave the children alone!

You should also all be reminded that if the BSF was still operating under the "old" rule book many swimmers and clubs would not be eligible to participate at Nationals at all......for example the family point system and the rule stating that all clubs must hold at least one meet per year at the 50 meter pool! There are many more that could have easily run the entire BSF family into the ground in one swoop of the executives pen.....

The time standards established were time standards agreed to by all the Coaches of the Clubs threatening to boycott.
This is laughable at best to now spin it to say SWIFT is responsible........come on guys enough now!

This certainly shouldn't be about anything other than the swimmers........who have all trained to the best of their ability and now can't participate because their clubs refuse to agree to follow the rules and the due process?

Kangaroo courts are out of date..........
There is a process.........let it govern.
