Subject: What did you do to the rules

It is very sad to see the direction that this current administration has decided to follow regarding the amendments of the rules. I hope they are willing to live up to the responsiblity of opening up the bsf to liability and the other issues that will result from these amendment. For example regarding the BSF sanctioning of meets. The rules were that a disclaimer went along with the application that stated in GR8.5.3 "I/we clearly understand(and confirm my/ our understanding by signing this document) that i/we shall hold the Bahamas Swimming Federation be free from any liability or claims for damages arising from death the death or injury to any competitor or anyone else during the above event, if sanctioned." By removing this stipulation any event that BSF sanctions it will be open to liability. I could go on about Many Many Many more vital rules that were eliminated. I think our president needs to rethink and revisit. Before i go one more rule taht was taken out and i don't know why maybe someone can clarify. GR1.3.2 THe BSF shall give written notification of any such amendments to all member clubs and of the date when any such amendments shall become effective. By removing this rule the BSF can pass a rule now and not be required to inform anyone and then come back five minutes later change it again and still no one will be aware. Big mistake, or is this Intentional i wonder.
