It seems that the link to the message board is no longer working, however the link still works from all the other pages on the website. Anyway, go ahead and add this page to your fovorites just in case.

There are lots of both negative and postive posts of late. And I think the BSF should really listen to a lot of what is being said. Its silly that they would choose to remove the only soapbox we have.

All racist remarks are unnecessary and uncalled for.

I've been talking about these rule changes for months, finally you guys are seeing the picture. The rules, as they were, legitimized the BSF internationally and with FINA. Now it just looks like a Mickey Mouse rulebook. All the rules of any import have been removed so we might as well not have a rulebook at all.

The feedback on this message board has indicated the direction and purpose of this current administration. And I don't see them lasting another term in office. Then I almost guarantee Andy Knowles and his cohortes will either be suspended again or banned from the federation. I just don't know why SWIFT chooses to do this. Why can't they just abide by the rules as they were written and focus there efforts on bringing more beginners into the sport.

Mr. Knowles has contributed to swimming but many of his actions have caused problems. Even his first visit to the Olympics was shrouded in contraversy.

The BSF has lost sight and I believe there will be no BSF in 10 years if no new swimmers and parents are brought into the sport. The BSF should place more of an emphasis on bringing young kids into the sport. Only one 6 and under girl and four 6 and under boys competed in the last dolphin meet. This does not show an upward trend in the progress of swimming. The BSF should stay out of Carifta team selection, leave that to the coaches, and should focus on making sure the younger agegroups are full. If the younger agegroups are full then swimming will live on forever.
