Well, that is an equally viable explanation as to the disappearance of Luanne, and I will not refute it. Perhaps they were running out of uses for Luanne, but I just happen to think that Joseph's growth spurt was primarily used as a way to cut Brittany Murphy's series workload.

Luanne works better as a supporting character than a star attraction anyway, so I am not depressed about it. It makes her appearance much sweeter, like next Sunday's episode when Luanne and Bill works at trendy hair salon.
