Bottom line to all this bickering is this: THOSE OF YOU WHO ARE DOING ALL THE BICKERING ABOUT WHAT IS GOING ON IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ARE THE SAME PEOPLE THAT WERE ALIGNED WITH EITHER McGROARTY OR HIS CRONIES. THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH SAID, HOWEVER YOU HAVE TO ADMIT THAT THOSE COMBINATIONS DID NOT WORK FOR THIS CITY OR ANY EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY. NOW THAT YOU HAVE LOST YOUR POSITIONS FOR WHATEVER REASON, YOU ARE ONCE AGAIN TRYING TO CAUSE TURMOIL IN THE FIRE DEPARTMENT. LET ME ASSURE YOU, YOU ARE VERY MUCH OUTNUMBERED THIS TIME. WE HAVE LEARNED A HARD LESSON FROM OUR MISTAKES OF THE PAST, WE WILL NOT LET IT HAPPEN AGAIN. AS FAR AS ANYONE ELSE WONDERING ABOUT THE BROTHERHOOD ON THE DEPARTMENT, YOU CAN BE ASSURED THE MEN ARE FOR THE MOST PART UNITED. IT IS LIKE A GOOD FRIEND OF MINE RECENTLY SAID, CANCER STRIKES MANY FAMILIES; THE FIRE DEPARTMENT HAS SOME MEMBERS WHO ARE A CANCER TO THE DEPARTMENT. THEY ARE ONCE AGAIN SHOWING THEIR UGLY HEAD AFTER SCREWING UP THE LAST THREE YEARS AND TRYING NOW TO DISCREDIT OTHER GOOD PEOPLE. GET A LIFE ALREADY. THE MEN ARE NOT BUYING IT THIS TIME.
