Subject: Personally, I would much rather keep our discussions focused on the stories that are readily available to everyone. How about a discussion of "Succubus", if you don't think it's been beaten to death already? I've seen almost no discussion of that story since HAND OF DEVILS came out, and to me, at least, it's a brand new story, even if it might be very old news to the rest of you.
In reply to: Jane 's message, "There are another couple of short stories Diana has written that don't belong on either of the boards I also think it would be fun to discuss. They fit nowhere else. One is "A Stillness at the Heart" from the book; Father's and Daughters. A non-fiction story about the death of her father..heartbreaking. There is a fiction story, written with her daughter Laura in another collection of short stories; Mother's and Daughters, it's called "Dream a Little Dream for Me" fun and fascinating. I can't imagine not wanting to read every word she's written myself. People who claim to be fans, but refuse to read John's books surprise me. I can believe the tiny short stories might not be worth the trouble for some people to bother looking for them. After all, even I never tried to find the technical writings, or the Disney cartoons she'd written before starting to write the books." on 19:32:30 01/31/08 Thu
