Thanks Vicki, I think it was wonderful luck for Franz that John happened along when he did, BOTH times! Here to save him from possibly exposing his preferences and then later saving him from nearly certain death in the badger pit. It was obvious none of the men in his company thought Franz was worth the trouble to search for. A bonus for John too, Franz had information that saved not only Dundas but allowed him to alert John that the Austrians had joined the French Army saving perhaps the whole of the English and German forces there from just being rolled over, unprepared to meet them! -- LJG Discussion board
