It's at least as long as "Succubus" -- just under 60 pages, but more words per page than HAND OF DEVILS, so it's hard to tell which is longer. It's certainly much longer than "Hellfire". -- LJG Discussion board

I think it was Hellfire that had me going..."NO wait! It can't be over..." Wasn't that the one where Quarry walks in on John & George Everett's telling conversation? I wanted to see more of that, and whether Harry heard any of what was said. Of course in The Private Matter there's a reference to that. - Yes, that was Hellfire. It was just before Harry killed George who was going to kill LJ. LJ never knew how much Harry heard or understood but I (IMO only) think he knows exactly. Maybe custome just seems shorter to me because Hand of Devils was only my 2nd book, I didn't know the characters or what was to come, and I hadn't fallen so completely into that world.
