- Amazon has her under romance, and the 'romance' label is kind of like the scarlet letter; once you have it, everything you write is labelled a romance. Incidentally, Lord John novels have been reviewed by The Romance Reader and The Road to Romance. I'm not trying to make a case that they *should* be considered romance -- I'm one of those label-hating people; you know what we're like -- but I think it's safe to say that at least some people do consider them such.   - It's been a little while since I ordered one of her books from amazon (I normally get the signed hardcovers from the Poisoned Pen), but I think last time I looked, the listing had romance, history, fiction, and maybe something else, too.
