Subject: I'm as enthralled with John's every little movement, just like I am Jamie's. He makes my heart go pitter-patter! Now, that it's been a few weeks since I've read BOTB, I might have to go back for a reread. My head was swimming after the first one because John just didn't seem like the John I love. Well, I've come to the conclusion that he wasn't....YET. He was much younger, and hadn't matured into the LJ of DOA. I think I've come to terms with many aspects of his character and this book. I believe if I went back for a reread, I would find it much richer and even more enjoyable. I like how he says, "hoy". Reminds me of Bridget in BJD when she was trying to quiet the audience. Again, I love seeing *John the soldier*, just brings a new dimension to him.
