Subject: i think even if hal has a small idea he would never mention it first. what if he has 'thought' it but then brings it up & LJ flat out denies it completely, that would be a big negative spot in their relationship. also, i can't see LJ mentioning it either because he has no idea how hal would react. they already had time apart too which he wouldn't want to have happen again.

  • I had a co-worker years ago who's son surprised her by coming out when he was a young teen (14 or 15). Moms do NOT always know. He was very much like LJG, blond and very handsome, masculine, liked sports, and did very well hiding his true self. I think life is very complicated for people who are different. Sometimes heartbreakingly so. When he was in his early 20s he was modeling in Paris and died of an "accidental" drug overdose, I've always thought it wasn't an accident. Always accept people who are different for who they are, life is often hard enough without people judging you.
