This brings to mind the interesting contrast between John's relationship with Percy, and his with Stephan. The sexual attraction between Lord John and Percy was instantaneous. While they also "liked" each other immediately, it was physical above all, without the time required for the growth of a true friendship, with its development of trust and understanding of each other's motivations. In thinking back to John's first meetings with Stephan, am I correct in recalling that it wasn't "like" at first sight on John's part? Yet the friendship has developed beautifully. Could be a verra nice basis for things to move along in a more romantic direction, no? (PS--I've been mostly lurking lately, but as usual, I can't keep my mouth shut!) -- LJG Discussion board
