  • It's an interesting growth of character as in the beginning of PM I found him to be almost comic relief with his grand gestures and plumed excressence. I do think that he has yet to admit his orientation completely for all that he is quite fond of John. (NT) -- kgp, 12:50:05 10/05/07 Fri

  • Yes, he was funny in the beginning of PM! Though even in that book, he shows a lot of concern for Lord John, taking care of him when he's poisoned, and going with him to question the murdered man's servants--even though he does it in classic von Namtzen style ("I am Stephan, Landgrave von Erdberg. I will come in!" That always cracks me up!) (NT) -- maddiej, 10:55:16 10/06/07 Sat
