  • My thoughts - it's a collector's item. If I were so inclined *G* I'd certainly buy it to have as a keepsake. Doesn't mean you can't buy a copy of the book. I used to collect stuff like this, but .... I came to the conclusion I'm not a pack rat and need to get RID of stuff. But, really, if I wanted that ARC I'd bid on it. I don't think it's disrespectful. Someone got that copy to read and obviously is going to probably cash in, but ... oh well, I'd still buy it if I wanted it. :D It would be cherished memorabilia to me.
