Subject: Diana is SO FUNNY, gracious, and elegant! Her opening remarks were very much the same as they were when I saw her last time after ABOSAA, but you know I could hear it again and laugh as much and have JUST as good a time. She is so brilliant on her feet answering questions, even the odd ones. I bought the book on CD and she signed the inside cover for me AND signed the book that I'd already purchased and read last week as well. As for what I said, well, you are gonna think I am weird (inside if your really interested) For everyone else, if you get a chance to see her GO! I can't say enough about how wonderful she is!
In reply to: Lisa W 's message, "I will see her tomorrow night Jane, and I have been wondering the same thing. What will I say or ask, oh well I just hope I don't sound goofy whatever I say. Enjoy tonight!!" on 10:27:14 09/09/07 Sun

I made herself a set of Jamie and Claire Christmas ornaments. I made over a couple of those MacDonald's Madame Alexander dolls. They ended up pretty darn cute. Jamie even had a furry black sporran, silver studded sword belt, dirk and sword over his red plaid kilt. I put them into a little oval crush proof box that I covered with the same red plaid material I used for Jamie's kilt and Claire's dress. Anyhow, I said "they don't look exactly like Jamie and Claire but do look cute hung together on a Christmas tree." I hope she heard me, I was pretty nervous. I get really shy in situations like that, but it is not her fault, she couldn't have been kinder or made us feel more welcome.
