Same here. I knew they wouldn't be together, but this really shocked me. I wasn't expecting it right at that moment. I love the way DG just shocks me sometimes...make the books so delicious to read. I've completely given up spoilers, too. I haven't read any for Book 7, but did read 3 for Brotherhood. I won't do that again, it ruins that surprised/shocked feeling that I love. -- LJG Discussion board

I hope you don't mind me saying so but I feel totally different about the excerpts. I can understand not allowing talk about them on the regular boards, let's protect the phobics, but those of us who go to the excerpt boards or CompuServe want everything herself is willing to share with us. This is the fourth new book that I have read every single excerpt available for and I was NOT disappointed. I hope herself NEVER stops sharing excepts with us.   - I agree that often the feel of the excerpts changes when put in context within the story, but more often than not the excerpts do appear in the books pretty much intact. Blood Pudding from ABOSAA sticks out in my mind since it appreared in the Outlandish Companion pretty much intact and that was published years before ABOSAA came out. I'm betting Surgeon's Steel won't change much either when it shows up in book 7. Why would it? It is PERFECT! P.S.
