Subject: I agree Teddie. I think she did a magnificent job of writing the love scenes between John and Percy...I enjoyed John's fiesty side, as well, especially when he was naming the 3 things of something...I can't recall and what he said with the third one! Hilarious. It was a great read, and I"m ready to reread again, also. I know I missed alot the first time thru.

A few thoughts: I am very pleased with the opportunity to delve into into Hal's personality, and especially that of their mother, Benedicta. (shades of Auntie Jocasta, but with more heart?). Lord John's toughness, courage and sense of familial honor is beautifully portrayed, along with his feisty side in bedscenes with Percy. I also very much like the details of a gentleman's life in his time. Interestingly, his last visit with James at first puts them at even greater opposite poles than ever, but Jamie does help him in the end.
