Subject: I'm not so concerned with external toxins as I am internal...

The theory is: we are what we eat. Okay, so you've probably heard that one before. But basically, everything we put into our body affects us someway somehow. Yeah, I'm a vegetarian, but I'm no health-crazy organic-food-buying marathon-running vegan child of the earth. My diet mainly constists of sugar, microwaveable meals, more sugar, salad, and the occasional cup of coffee. I consume way too many proccessed foods, and I'm just certain that all the preservatives currently sitting in my stomach from this morning's frappuccino are harboring into the nooks and crannies of my internal structure and will eventually surface as cancer or diabetes or whatever. Call me paranoid (because let's face it, I probably am), but I'm going to continue to fast so long as I think it will help rid my body of these cancerous toxins. And sure, I should just eat healthier, but have you ever tried to shop for 100% natural foods? It's expensive and close to impossible. And let's face it, sometimes that bag of Cheetos is just too damn tempting to pass up. :-)
