Back when I was a wee lass, I was a hospital Candy Striper (a little assistant type person who wears a red and white striped apron thingy). I thought my job would be to wheel out new moms and their babies. But I soon found myself taking biohazardous coolers to the lab, escorting old women outside to smoke, and delivering hundreds of trays of hospital food to various patients. Old folks homes are even more scray! Luckily, I've never been in a mental hospital (as patient or visitor), but I can imagine the negative aura that fills those things!
