Basically the "Grease" of the Shakespearean plays, but a fun one to do nonetheless. The 80's theme makes it a great train wreck.

I'm playing one of the sidekicks to the guy who gets an ass head attached to him; it's a small role, but we get to be beastie-boy-esque rappers on stage and we steal the show as the comic relief in the end.

Current talks are raising the possibility of ninja shakespeare* next. I really like this director... [grin]

*and besides, Samurai Shakespeare (Ran by Akira Kurosawa is a retelling of King Lear) is considered among the best adaptations ever, so I guess ninja are fair game. We may even incorporate pirates as well.
