A lot of the more veteran members of the cast are snerking over the currnt U drama students insisting on those exercises before shows. They seem to be having flashbacks to high school (not to mention that when rehearsal starts at 6, that means you're already prepped and warmed up by then).

My theory on the drama warmups is that their main purpose isn't to limber up, but to make sure everyone looks equally dumb for the first 10 minutes so nobody feels that shy afterward. This especially comes in handy at the high school age, where people seem to be more concerned with looking cool in front of their friends. Just my opinion, though.
