The first band i met was The Living End who are my fav.. i asked their manager if there was any chance of meeting them at rockit he gave me his mobile number i called him and he took me backstage. He handed me my pass and it said "Groupie pass" and i was like "Errr..." and he's like "Don't worry.. it's not like that."
I've met them 3 times since then.. nicest band ever. Chris the lead guitarist remembers me now.. mainly because i was on new meds the first time i met them and didn't exactly come across sane. I've written him letters when i was sick which i don't remember and he knows EVERYTHING about me. It was cool last time at the gig cause security tried to kick us out and he was like "No she's with me."
Other bands i met at the airport. You just look up flight times.. like if they are playing a show the night before they play here then they are obviously arriving here that morning so you look up flight times for that day.
I met... Simple Plan and Green Day cause my cousin loves them and i wanted to get her bday signed by them. Simple Plan were actually pretty nice but i managed to get myself insulted by Green Day.
