Subject: Nobody really notices the car you drive

I hate to break it to people who buy cars/suv's for the hood ornament. Honestly? Nobody's looking. Well other than others who covet things. The vast majority are too busy driving or going about their own lives to care about what you own.

When I drive down the highway, I'm just in a metal box trying to avoid other metal boxes, and get to destination at best possible speed, albeit safetly. What you drive, what you wear, what you look like, are not really a factor on a day to day basis.

I think this hold true for most people.

I'm afraid we've all been lied to that if we wear certain things, and drive bigger cars, that everyone will be making googley eyes at us. I guess a few really shallow people may, but who wants those dregs giving us their attention?

I'd be very wary of people who piled compliments on my purchases...they generally want something.

Again, people are far too busy with their own lives to really care what you have done with yours.

Whether you are a success or a failure, it doesn't really matter to me. This is not an insult, but to put it simply...whether you are a king or a bum on the street, if I don't know you,...I really don't care what you have or don't have.
