Stud's ears prick up. His head turns slowely. He slid into the shadows, no sun could be invited in. A low growl was emitted. You could hear bustling in the corner. A few thumps before silence.

A harsh growl was heard What does it matter to you? You don't have the same problems, you wouldn't understand. His voice trailed as slience was another must. A sound came from the darkness I was put on this earth to fight and guard...not to play and be loved. Leave me here to do my job

The room was soundless. After the voice trailed off the shadow was just a shadow. Something that was passed so many times.
