FITCH SCORES 26 IN BERRY'S 84-74 VICTORY AT ATHENS STATE
Guard Leads Five Vikings In Double Figures As Berry Closes Non-Conference Slate With Win
 
     Athens, Ala....Cameron Fitch scored a game high 26 points to lead Berry College to an 84-74 victory at Athens State in an NAIA non-conference men's basketball game in Athens, Ala., Thursday.
 
     Fitch led five Vikings in double figures as Berry closed its non-conference slate with a victory to improve to 12-6 overall.  The junior guard also grabbed seven rebounds and dished out six assists.
 
     Mitch Webb  scored 16 points and hauled in eight rebounds, Jonathan Reddell and Bo Abney scored 12 points apiece and Ben Elliott chipped in 10 points for the Vikings.  Reddell also pulled down a team-high 10 rebounds to complete his double-double performance.
 
     Rickey Duff led Athens State with 16 points and 10 rebounds, while Graham Patterholt scored 12 points and Cory Spencer added 10 points for the Bears.
 
     The Vikings return to action Thursday, when they host Union at 8 p.m. in Berry's TranSouth Athletic Conference opener.
