Subject: Resources for new writers?

Hello everyone! I've recently taken up the fanfic writing hobby and have found it thoroughly enjoyable. But now that I'm hooked on it, I would actually like to work on improving my skills to the point where I'm more satisfied with what I come up with. I know that a major part of that will come from simply continuing to write and from listening to (and learning from) feedback. However, I would also like to explore other sources of information. I was wondering if any of you more experienced authors might have recommendations for good books on writing technique -- not just on grammar and usage, but on how to craft a good story. I would love to read something like that, but have no clue as to the quality of what's out there.

Thanks in advance--
JayBee
