The Beta Board is the place to test posts on voy.com message boards, as well as a place for rough drafts to get feed-back from beta-readers. If you post here, expect honestly constructive comments on your writing. If you read something here, recognize that it's not finished, and give an honest opinion of what worked, and what didn't work, for you. If you are just testing the format of your story, indicate so and no one will comment. Unfortunatley, the password can no longer be posted here. A few weeks ago, there was some discussion on the Fanfiction Message Board about Beta Reading and how to do it. So, I've decided to set forth an experiment.

Here is the first fanfiction I ever wrote. It has never been beta read, because when I wrote it, I didn't know what beta reader's were. Basically, the story is terrible. Be warned before you dive in. It hurts me every time I see it. (Ouch!)

But you *are* invited to dive in and beta this. Hopefully, there will be other authors beta reading and that will let everyone see how beta reading is done by various people.

I shall try to reply to the beta's and may even rewrite a little here and there. Geez, talk about a lesson in humility here!LOL

So go. Have fun. Tear it to shreds. Goodness knows it needs it!LOL
