Our goal is to have every checkpoint across the state manned to help ensure safety and the quality of the event. To do this I need quality people that can handle being in the outdoors and know what they are doing in the woods to man these checkpoints. From reading your website from time to time, I know that your crew are the type of people that I need to make the event a success. Obviously helping out with the race is a big time commitment, but I was just wondering if any of you or anyone you know are at all interested. I would also certainly be willing to help you and the Fortune Bay Team in some way if possible. The race runs from June 1-5th. Actual race from Thursday morning through Sunday. The race start in Frankfort, Mi and travels east across the entire state. Disciplines include trekking, Mtn. Biking, paddling, and fixed ropes for the 4 person coed teams. The entire race is navigation based using only topo map and compass.
