Hey all sorry to do this, but a credit card is required for reservations on the ferry, and I don't have a card, so it has been recommended that we each call and make our own reservations. The number for the Manitou Island Transit is.... 231-256-9061.
Also the transit recommended making the reservations as soon as possible due to the size of our group.
I was informed that the Manitou Island State Bird(Mosquito) is in abundance, and the black flies only were enjoyed late in the evenings. So I recommend that if you are seeking to donate blood to leave your bug spray at home.
And one last thing, I was thinking that we could meet and regroup at the Early Bird resturant for breakfast. It is located on the southeast corner of the intersection for the road down to the ferry and M22. Hope to see you all there. And don't forget that check in time is 9:00am.
