In first place is Andy Kursch (ropework master), so here is another Quiz that will be more difficult to find.

1. Native American tribes of the Great Lakes would at times find it necessary to swamp their canoes and fill them with rocks to keep them underwater. Why did they do this?

2. According to legend, the Manitou Islands remained uninhabited by indigenous personnel until the arrival of the Europeans. What is the archeological (European) reason and how does indigenous Michigan legend explain this?

3. What shipwreck lies partly submerged off the Manitou Islands, and when did it sink?
