Ahoy, there, mateys! Welcome to the "Cask 'n' Anchor Inn." This Friday be Talk Like a Pirate Day. O' course, we know that no one'd be talkin' like pirates today if Robert Newton hadn't taught the world to do it right 'n' proper back in 1950. If ye be lookin' for a port o' call where 'ee might practice yer swagger, why, drop anchor here for a bit 'n' gab with the rest o' Cap'n Silver's crew!

Arr, I agree, matey--this site be wantin' some sound clips, but I've no means t' make 'em. But perhaps we'll find the supplies amongst the booty on our next voyage!

I endeavoured t' put a clip on this page, but 'twon't play here in me own quarters:

Hope ye've all weathered this storm with yer masts intact and wishin' ye smooth sailin'.

This be a slur on dear old Purity Pinker wot be mine 'ostess' at that fine old inn at Bristol 'arbour ha har! Never mind shipmates... as long as they remembers old Long John that be all that matters. If any of you scurvy crew be 'oldin a reunion in the fair land of Albion do let me know, as both myself and old Blind Pugh will be there to pay respects to our old shipmate who be now sailin' heavens waters in the old "Hispaniola"
