Why have none of the Seattle papers picked up the story about the ITC offer?

Could it be that the offer has only been made in a self-serving press release and not to the appropriate public agencies that could actually approve moving forward on the project.

While it would be wonderful to have a 100 mile system monorail throughout the Puget Sound region, I have yet to see any evidence that this ITC offer is real.
