This is a travesty! As music educators we have as much rights to funding as a football team does! It is not merely music in which the levies kill, it is the opportunity to become more creative, diverse individuals. Music should not be on the chopping block when it comes to levies not passing. We have as much right to remain as that of sports. If we don't get to teach because of this, we might not be able to continue in Music Education. We should do something to get funding...possibly a petition. I don't know anything in particular, but we can't have this abomination occur!
