Some of the children in my reading group have the same problem - not putting any expression into their reading. One of the ways I try to remedy this is to read with them, putting the expression in. Once they get the idea, they will follow your lead. Have a little patience with your little girl and give her lots of encouragement and praise when she reads well. I hope your daughter continues to mprove and enjoy her reading.
