Pyrokenesis, FireStarting, and those born with the gifts of a Child of Fire. each is a bit different. Pyrokenesis allows the manipulation and creation of fire, but makes the user rather adamant about avoiding water as it sometimes causes physical pain. this ability is restricted, however, in that you can not learn past the abilities you were born with- but you can make them stronger. Children of Fire can learn Fire MAGIC, but again, are restricted to what their bodies can handle. the rarest of the abilities is FireStarting. now, depending on the person, this can be anything from a simple little flame to a terrifying power. the restriction to this is that they need fuel for the fires, but otherwise, can do virtually anything they want to with the flames once they call them. now, if it is a minor gift, they can just basically light candles. however, Landis..... he could create a terrible FireStorm if he was frightened. that is what happened to make us decide to seal him away. ~+~*she sighed.*~+~ he was very upset when he learned about these abilities. he knew, right away, that he would never fully be able to control them. it did not surprise him when my father announced that he was going to be contained. he is too young to go through this....
