ANSWER:
Ok for the first one, i chose an article called "U.S. Beef is Confiscated in Saudi Arabia" dated December 29, 2003. Basically it says that some Saudi authorites took a shipload of beef at the Red See port city of Jeddah to test it for Mad Cow Disease. The director of the National Food Labritory,Jamil Nazer said, "The measure is just precautionary and taken upon the verbal directives of the ministry of commerce." I found this compelling because up until now, most exports from the U.S. have been good quality, sometimes expensive, and worthwile products. I find it ironic that one of the best-off countries is beginning to face problems that some countries have been facing for years.
For the second article, I chose "Saudi Gets First Women Pharmacist," dated November 5, 2003. Basically the Saudi Health Ministry issued its first license for a Saudi women to open and operate a pharmacy. This move is the first of its kind, and a very good one, I think. It's about time to give women a few more oportunities to shine in places where men have been soaking up the spotlight for so long. YOU GO GIRL!!
Lasly, I chose "Saudis Announce Aids Figures," dated October 22, 2003. Saudi Arabia has a shocking 6,787 cases of Aids, 77% being men, nad 23% being women. The patients ages range from 15 to 49. The country has spent over $6 million on medicine and equipment for monitoring, discovering, and treating the disease. Knowing this makes me all the more grateful to be living where I do. Especially considering I myself am 15, and could be one of the 23% of women who have Aids today in Saudi Arabia.

That's all...bye Mr. Moore! (and anyone else who's reading this)
