FIRST STORY: Drug Lord, Arcangel de Jesus Henao Montoya, was arrested Saturday along the border of Columbia. Montoya was suspected to be a leader of the Norte de Valle drug cartel and was wanted in Panama as well as the U.S. He is waiting extradition to America (sending arrested fugitive to another country for trial).

SECOND STORY: Clahes with the riot police and umeployed protesrots brought about the declaration of the state of social emergency at the Port of Colon. The protestors have an investment of the Carribean part of hte Panama Canal. In this area, the Afro-Carribean minority has a 30% uemployment rate.

THIRD STORY: 300 workers from the Panama Refinery ended their three day strike. They were striking about the packages they recieved that was a part of the pan to end the refinery at the end of hte year. The stikers' demands have yet to be met, but they ended the stikre to prevent an country-wide oil shortage.
