My two concentrations, English and Women's Studies, are very different disciplines. English offers profound but quiet inspiration, like a sweet traditional church service. It seems to slowly bind your heart with every lovely poetic line. Women's Studies forces you to see the ugliness; it smears your face in the dirt and the smut of the world and says, "Now DO something about it." I hope that English will hold my dreams steadfast while W.S. keeps me grounded. To live in a poetic stupor may be pleasant, but it isn't life--I think that one must always be kept unsatisfied.

Anyway--thank you for the kind words, dear one. It *really* means a lot to me. ***more hugs***
