As some of you may or may not know, Courtney and Allison Smith had a cousin born 3 months premature at Forsyth Medical Center last year. Had it not been for the Ronald McDonald House, the girls aunt, Leslie, would have had to leave her 1 pound 7 ounce newborn baby boy in Winston all alone and visit him only as traveling permitted. However, the Ronald McDonald House was there, never asking for anything, with doors wide open, and Leslie was able to stay in Winston with little Michael until he was transferred to Hickory. 46% of the Ronald McDonald House, in Winston Salem, guests have a critically ill newborn in the hospital.

With the busy holidays quickly approaching, people begin to think about things that matter a lot to them, family, friends, and all of the gatherings we will attend. Unfortunately, some of us will spend our holidays in hospitals and in some cases all alone. Thankfully, places like the Ronald McDonald House exist, providing a place for families to stay, while sick family members are in the hospitals near by. However the Ronald McDonald House relies on volunteers, charities, and donations to keep its doors open.

Courtney and Allison would like to ask each one of you for nonperishable donations this holiday season to be taken to the Ronald McDonald House in Winston Salem December 2nd 2005. You would be surprised at what small everyday items are essential to the houses operation. Please take a look at the list attached and anything that you feel you could provide bring to the studio and the Smith family will take care of storing and delivering. Thank you so much for your effort.

From our family to yours, Happy Holidays!!
