Date Posted: 12:30:17 03/16/04 Tue ~+~*the remaining Quezacoatl spiraled about the bottom of the pillar for a few moments, and then one of the smaller ones idly returned to the large cavernous gap in the outer wall that they had made their home. one of Kakrine's sisters followed it idly, landing on the ledge outside its home. South Wind- she carried a small locket in her hands, letting it dangle freely from the chain that held it. it looked oddly familiar- like one that you had seen somewhere a long time ago. her three sisters joined her, followed by Kakrine herself- who took the locket, and placed it around her neck. they sat down on the ledge, watching the serpents flying around below them. Cronos, Parie, Akurei, and Alimiras joined them soon after, and having not seen the abandoned goddesses for a while, you could not help but wonder where they had been. Cronos was the only one who seemed interested in speaking to the Winds- likewise, who's only speaker was Kakrine.*~+~ Cronos- has there been any more trouble from them? Kakrine- not so far- but their leaders are getting a bit edgy. i'm worried that they will go after the Eyerlings when they return.... one of them already made a pass at Kibelle and Kioku.... of corse, touching Kioku killed it right away. Cronos- is there anything that we can do? Kakrine- a Goddess from Ephsidel has more ancient magic than these serpenmts. you, and perhaps Parie together, could drive one or two of them out. the rest will either follow, or will take this entire civilization to drive out. Cronos- i understand.... so, did you get the locket? Kakrine- yes. and, i thank you for this. Cronos- whos was it? Kakrine- i couldnt tell you that. but so long as we have it, we can call in his aid. Cronos- whats up with those things, anyways? Kakrine- they contains half of the spirit and soul of the person who owns it.... that is why breaking these kills the owner. this one? he got careless.... Cronos- gonna kill him? Kakrine- no, that would be cruel.... im going to return it after i get him here. he could help us..... an old friend, especially to the people from the Mystic Planes. they helped him, and he returned the favors. Cronos- so, who? Kakrine- that is not important right now.... you probably know him anyways, his God and Parie were together for a while. Cronos- you mean.... ooooooooh, i get it now..... why are you asking for HIS help? Kakrine- because it is worth having. the Saharian gods.... they had a hand in creating this place, you know. he would be more than willing to help, especially after i return his locket. he probably thinks that somebody stole it after it was left behind. figures, he never was the most inteligent person.... Cronos- oh, be nice! its not his fault- he ISNT that old, you know. besides, hes more inteligent than any of the others that came out of that bloody army.... Kakrine- yes, but as far as gods go? he is inteligent in the normal sense- but not when it comes to common sense. he could have died if somebody stepped on this! Cronos- what do you expect? he was a slave. common sense never exactly dawned on most of them. that was why Myuure-na nearly got herself killed over that Dragon Stone.
