Date Posted: 16:04:08 03/18/04 Thu ~+~*all of the gryphons and anthromorphic creatures stopped suddenly, and looked up. spiraling around the large pillar was a long rope of silver light, slowly descending further and further.... something fealt wrong about that. you waited for a moment, and then saw the Quezacoatl begin to panic. they all dove towards the bottom of the pillar, and into the water at the bottom. all of the residents just waited, watching- as did you. then they all closed their eyes, and began to float. you fealt a sensation of falling, and then you yourself were lifted off the ground, and ever so slowly- pulled towards the center of the pillar. the light whizzed down the pillar past you, as another began above- spiraling in the opisate direction as the one that had come down before. you turned to all of your companions- the four goddesses and all of the Winds had sent themselves away as soon as the lights began to come down. you saw the Lake Guardian floating up as well, as were all of the Amarians from the fields and forests. the serpents seemed to be the only things not moving. you watched as more and more lights began to spiral down, until you could not see the pillar at all- and you were getting ever closer to the wall that now stood before you. you watched as the first few gryphons hit it, and simply evaporated- and then you were worried. you began to struggle against the pull, which sped it up greatly. you managed to get your back turned on it- but before you really knew what was happening, a flood of white filled your vision from the outside, and your thoughts simply stopped...*~+~ ~+~*you woke up some time later, floating somewhere or other in the dark. you opened your eyes, and held your hands up to your face. well, at least you were alive- you gathered that much from hearing your own heart beat. you slowly rolled forward so that you were 'standing' and then fealt yourself dropping. you landed, and suddenly your vision cleared. a plane of black tile outlined in blue, as far as you could see. little colored spheres drifted through the air here, leaving light trails that vanished about a foot behind them.... spirits of deities? you turned around, and saw to your astonishment, row upon row of looms.... each of them had large cloths woven onto them, the threads weaving themselves into patterns at the bottom. some of the cloth that had been made was quite long, while others were relatively small- the origional rows still fitting onto their looms. you walked into the first row, and looked at the first cloth. it was one of the longest that you could see- and, for some reason, when you looked at it- you thought of Naoki and Xalia.*~+~ That's the Kestrian Race's cloth. ~+~*you jumped back upon hearing the voice, and looked around.*~+~ You don't remember this place? Last time I canned you all here, you ended up at the Wheel. I was hoping that you would land near the Braids- but it can't be helped. ~+~*you relaxed right away. Verdandi would not call you all the way up to the Eyer just to kill you... you 'fealt' her smile, and slowly walked out of the row of looms.*~+~ Any ways, the looms are basically weaving time. As long as a race exists, their loom will weave beautiful patterns. By touching different places on the finished portions of the cloth, you can re-live different parts of their histories. The Kestrian, for example- if you touched the first little weave, you would see the first early dragons. Traveling further would show you where the two races seperated, and then it would take you through the chronology of the entire race. But that is not why I called you all up here... ~+~*the voice faded from your mind for a moment, then you found your vision slightly blurred- and then found yourself elsewhere in the Eyer. there was nothing here, as opposed to the other two places you had seen of this place.*~+~ Forgive the events at the Sanctuary. Nothing that hit the light was killed... I simply thought it best to move the sanctuary to a more secure location. Like the Dragon Sanctuary which is hidden in the clouds of your Mystic Planes, the Gryphon Sanctuary has been moved to the center of your planet. Forgive me for putting it there- your world is simply better balanced than any others. Any ways, the Quezacoatl were left where they were when the cavern colapsed, as the pillar was moved as well. Be proud- your world now houses the Dragon, Gryphon, Phoenix, and Everian Sanctuaries. They will all rise to defend you if they are needed. ~+~*you heard her mental chuckle before she continued.*~+~ Now, why I called you here again. There is a great deal that none of you understand... The future is one of those. One moment... ~+~*she vanished again, and you watched as the Eyerlings all appeared before you. All of them- including the silver haired Maiko who you had seen in your visions. Treyvan appeared as well, as did the only Eyerling female that you did not know yet. you could be introduced later. They all looked around for a moment, and then relaxed.*~+~ Welcome home, my children.... Now, to the matters at hand. I have altered all of your fates by calling you here like this. Firstly, my children... I have intervened in order to get you all together. You must not split up again, for your safety and mine. You must travel together, and find a home for yourselves. ~+~*you 'fealt' her nod.*~+~ Now, children from the Mystic Planes.... I can not let you stop the draining of the river. I know that it sounds cruel, but listen. The river is becoming crowded- not draining it would cause the Spirits linked to it to die a slow, painful death as they are litterally suffocated over hundreds of years. Rather, I will take the liberty to link those that still deserve and desire life to the Eternal Spires. And, when the time comes... The Spirits shall have their own revenge upon Ma'ar's sister. There is nothing that you can do about her at this time. Rest here. Soon I will place you in the next step of your journey, though it may not be a pleasant one. Once you are done resting, you will go to the Faerie Kingdoms, and then- you will finally be able to go home. ~+~*the voice faded for a moment.*~+~ I am here to answer any of your questions, if you feel the need to ask any. Absolutely anything that you could need to know will be known by me. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
